Description
The Rheem-Ruud 61-106238-14 Thermal Expansion Valve is an item that is used to control the amount of the refrigerant flowing in the HVAC systems in order to improve on its performance and efficiency. In its standard configuration, this valve has a 2 ton capacity and is suited for air conditioning systems using R-22 refrigerant. The valve has a 30” capillary length and 7-1/4” equalizer length which assists in controlling the flow of refrigerant. It comes in 3/8″ x 3/8” size which will fit most of the HVAC parts, making the device usable in most applications. The connection of the external equalizer is 1/8 ”sweat O.D which makes it to be strong and secure. This valve is used to manage the refrigerant flow to ensure the better temperature and pressure in the system is met.
