Description
This is a Sporlan Controls 155083 3-Way 3/8” Thermal Expansion Valve that provides accurate control to refrigerant flow in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It uses a 5’ capillary tube to measure the evaporator temperature and control the amount of refrigerant to be circulated. This 3-way valve ensures that the system has the right superheat while at the same time avoiding the circulation of liquid refrigerant to the dangerous compressor. This valve is normally applied in walk-in coolers, freezers and ice machines.
