Description
The Tecumseh K146-56 Start Capacitor Kit is an electrical component that consists of a start capacitor of the size that would supply the initial microfarad rating required to generate the required torque in the motor and related mounting hardware that connects to the start winding circuit of the motor in HVAC systems. When excited in the start-up sequence of the motor, the capacitor momentarily stores and releases electrical energy to help the motor overcome initial inertia and achieve motor start-up, and help in the consistent operation of compressors and blower fans in the condition control system.
