Description
The Trane SHE5409 Sheave is a grooved wheel that the Trane Company uses in driving belts in different Trane HVAC products. It can be better described as a wheel that reorients and transfers rotational power. The belt fits over the grooved face of the sheave; this face rotates and transmits this motion to the belt to drive other elements in the system. It has a single groove and the bore diameter is changeable from 0.38 up to 1.5 inch which provides compatibility with various belts. Physical dimensions and belt size are defined by such parameters as bore length (1-1/4”) and face width (0.875”).
