Description
The Trane SWT1649 Reverse Flow Switch works with a temperature-sensitive HVAC system that closes its electric contacts at around 105°F when air flows backward or when the temperature is high and then opens the electric contacts at about 95°F when the temperature returns to normal. The switch is installed in ductwork or air handler sections where there is a check of the proper airflow direction and has connections with control circuits. It assists in heating and cooling equipment to maintain proper patterns of airflow and to provide system response to altered thermal conditions.
