The Trane SWT1653 is a Reverse FLow Switch small component that is essentialto safeguard your Trane HVAC system, which is meant to control water flow reversal. This switch is 5.7” long and has a 1/4” quick connect terminal which makes it easy to install in your system. It controls the flow of water in the system to check its direction. If the water flow reverse, the temperature goes beyond 110°F open temperature, and the switch quickly responds by closing the flow. . When normal water flow is re-established and the temperature drops below 100°F the switch resets and normal operation is resumed, being suitable with 120V/240V systems.
