Description
The Trane SWT3073 is an 8″ long pressure switch that is critical to adjust pressure in various HVAC equipment. The snap action mechanism of this SPDT switch makes it easy to install and uses quick-connect terminals. It’s an automatic on/off switch based on air pressure. The normally open designation means that the switch is an open circuit and keeps it open until pressure reaches a predetermined level. When that pressure is reached, the switch completes the circuit. This pressure control can be used in HVAC systems to activate a fan when pressure rises or to turn off a compressor if pressure drops too low.
