Description
The Trane THT2210 is a single-pole, single-throw thermal switch designed to automate temperature control in a broad spectrum of HVAC equipment. A switch has one set of contacts that make or break an electrical circuit. The THT2210 is an automatic on/off switch based on temperature in this case. A lot of things inside your HVAC system can turn on and open the circuit at 155°F and turn off and close the circuit at 115°F when the pre-set switch is triggered. In one example, the system may be developed so that when a desired temperature is reached the system may be developed to turn off a heating element or turn on a ventilating fan to cool a device.
