Description
The York S1-VLV-015-410 Thermal Expansion Valve is an essential part of the HVAC system that regulates refrigerant circulation. This valve can be used with a variety of refrigerant lines its ODF ALCO configuration is 3/8” x 1/2”. It is small enough to be used conveniently, yet not flimsy enough; it is 5 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 3 inches high. The thermal expansion valve is fundamentally used for the regulation of refrigerant flow to the evaporator coil according to the cooling demand. It removes issues such as coil freezing and inadequate cooling since it controls the flow of refrigerant thus achieving most heat transfer.
